I have an Asus Nexus 7 2013 tablet and a Macbook pro with OS X 10.8.5. I want to copy some ebooks in epub format from my Mac to the tablet. But no luck. I googled this and everyone says install Android File Transfer et voila! put the files where you want. There is just one problem - AFT can't create any folders. I click the new folder icon and it creates a new folder named "untitled folder" but then it gives an error "Could not rename folder. Try restarting or reconnecting your device." Neither of those suggestions worked. Any ideas?

I would download a file explorer app from the playstore. ES explorer is pretty good. Create the folder using the app then plug it into your mac and transfer your files.

Thanks a lot, y2whisper. After installing ES I can see that there is already a folder named /sdcard/eBooks. But for some reason AFT was not showing me that folder. Wonder why not? And of course it couldn't create a folder with the same name, but instead displayed a really bad error message.

Thanks, still1. It worked but the weird thing is - the cover art didn't come through. Both on the web and on the N7 I see a gray rectangle with the title and authors below it.
