Nexus 9 Inverted Screen Axis (Running on Marshmallow) Auto rotate problems
Hi all
I recently purchased a Nexus 9, have REALLY been enjoying it but its developed a problem with screen orientation. Essentially when the tablet is held in Portrait, the screen orientates itself in Landscape and vice versa. I know that auto rotate problems seem to happen sometimes but is generally that they dont rotate at all, rather than rotating in the wrong direction. This happens in all apps and on the home screen, I have locked it in landscape and everything seems to work fine bar the fact the screen isnt rotating properly.
I am going to try an app to give me some idea of how the accelorometer is working and delete a few apps. I know that a factory reset may be an idea too but I am afraid it will go away and come back. I will also download a spirit level app to check if that displays inverted aswell. Anyways, does anybody else have any suggestions, or have any of you come across this on Marshmallow on other Android devices?
I am really just trying to figure out if its hardware or software
Thanks everyone for your help
