Trying to figure out what's going on here with volume + and my hands free system in my truck. Every time I turn on NY it auto connects to my phone for calls and whatnot. When I play Bluetooth music through my system, I have to go into volume+ enable Bluetooth speaker modification and then disable it again otherwise the audio is weak. It will be all mids and highs with no lows at all. I can't figure out why I have to do this every single time even though I do not have anything set in volume+ to modify Bluetooth audio. Any help would be appreciated.

what BT system are you using?
Is it factory BT system?
If so which manufacturer?

When I was using Volume + w/ my parrot my phone would only connect as a media player not as a phone at times. Was very strange. Got rid of volume plus because you have to register on his website for the updates and was just too lazy. No problems since, but my speakerphone volume stinks :)

It's not a factory system. It's a Pioneer AVH-3400BH DVD Receiver with built in bluetooth. The source that I go to is actually Bluetooth Audio on the receiver to get it but it requires me to go into Volume+ every time and set bluetooth on, and then off before the music sounds good. I want to get rid of Volume+ but I need my notifications and speaker to be loud enough to actually hear stuff since Google can't hurry their lazy asses up and push out an update.

Just FYI, I happen to have the same Pioneer head unit and do not have Volume +, and I pair and play great. I know it's not a solution, but it might help you make a decision. Using stock GN
