Nexus Apps in Play Store for Pixel?

I noticed Google Connectivity Services and Google Camera updates available. The updates mention they are for Nexus devices. So, why are they showing up for the Pixel, and would there be any problem if the updates were applied?

The Pixel uses the same apps as the Nexus line... the camera app is the same, the Conn. Svs apps.... there's nothing loaded on the Pixel that isn't loaded on the Nexus and vice versa just that some functions are enabled on one and not the other. The Google App on the Nexus launches On Tap/Screen Search and the SAME exact app runs the Google Assistent on the Pixel, as an example.

If your phone is showing an update available, take it.
