My Nexus 6 is rooted and I noticed a software update available. I downloaded the update and now the phone boots into Teamware win recovery.

It comes up and says unable to mount storage along with some more text and then throws me into the main menu.

Does anyone know how to get the phone back to the OS?

I rooted the phone myself a while back, so I know it is rooted.

I can not get past the Recovery to the OS to check it as you suggested.

Thank you. After reading that, I just held down the power button and volume down. It then gave me the option to start. I am now back in. Thank you for your help.

If you are running the stock ROM you don't want to install the updates or it will cause problems like you mentioned. I would recommend installing a custom ROM if you don't already have one installed. Dark Rom and Pure Nexus would be my top 2 choices. Dark Rom gets updates pushed to your phone so you don't have to download and install each time a new update gets pushed out.

I am running 7.0 stock rooted
Build NBD90Z
kernel : 3.10.40-gede039c
BB : MDM 9625_104670.31.05.42R

I will look into the Dark Rom
