Does anyone else have this problem where you are in the middle of typing and fat finger syndrome has you press the home button instead of the space bar? Obviously causing you to drop to the home menu and possibly lose any work you were doing ( like writing an email).

yea i sometimes do it...it sucks.. i got swiftkey 3 and it helps but i still do it sometimes

Probably something you're gonna have to work into your muscle memory to keep from doing. I went from an original Dinc to a Galaxy S3 and I screw up typing all the time because the keyboard is bigger than normal and my fingers aren't used to it. I've been watching myself type on it lately and it seems to be helping my typing when I'm not looking at the keyboard. Maybe you could try that

Swype Beta fixed this for me. If you swype across the nav bar nothing happens.

You could switch to the tablet interface, then the buttons will be over to the left and will be much harder to fat finger.

I don't finger type - I use a stylus, much more precise. And for much typing, I've got the Logitech Bluetooth keyboard.
