Your incorrect, I have had the rezound and have been able to test the Nexus for over a week and the Nexus is far superior to the rezound. Sense will destroy ICS and the battery life on it is just like all other htc phones. All its got going over the Nexus is the camera by a just a little

You are incorrect. The Nexus is by Samsung and their products always have issues. They have great specs but the execution lacks. The battery life on my Rezound is fine. I use it all day and charge at night - the same I would with any LTE phone.
Try expanding the memory with the Nexus - it cannot be done. Who knows how Sense will work with ICS. Plus there are rumors that HTC will drop Sense with ICS.

Has bloatware?
No perminent root yet?
sd card yeah I will miss that.
Not fond of HTC skin anymore.

but there are valid reasons for both devices, but yes most are acting like Apple Fanboys regarding the Nexus.

So the nexus comes with 32 gb, but the Rezound will support 32 gb cards along with it's internal memory.
So the rezound has the edge there but what would you need 64gb of data on a phone for?
Listen, I don't want to turn this into a flame war, but good god, man. Your entire statement had no facts, no supporting evidence, and no substance. "Nexus is far superior" is pure opinion.
Let's take a look at some of the facts;
- Rezound has a superior screen in terms of ppi and not having a pentile screen (all Super AMOLEDs have a form of pentile. And no, if it couldn't be dismissed when the Bionic had it, then the Nexus gets no special treatment.)
- Audio capability goes for the Rezound. Beats by Dre may be overhyped, but it is still leaps and bounds above anything stock on ANY smartphone on Verizon, period.
- The hardware on the Rezound is superior or equal to anything on Verizon. The Nexus is running both an underclocked processor, and an older GPU. The phone is fully functional, but the "bleeding edge" hardware factor is not in its favor.
I'm sure you can pull out other factors, like ICS, which the Nexus does have in its favor, obviously. But to simply assume it's better and that's that is foolish.
Also, only the Thunderbolt had serious battery issues. You assuming that all HTC phones eat battery life is simply bias.
They're both good phones right now. Difference is the Nexus will still feel like a good phone in 6 months and a year. Spec wise they're a push in most areas. Rezound has expandable memory most won't use. GN has the screen. Get whatever you like and be happy with it. No need to justify your choice.
Are topics like this necessary? A good iphone bash is fine every so often but we're all Android users, same team bro.....same team.
There is hype because it will be the only pure ICS phone until next year's Nexus. The specs are mediocre but so are the previous Nexus phones.
My argument for removable battery and storage is the same as it's always been... Future proofing.
Even if I get a new phone in to years, there would still be a lot of things I could use the rezound for. At least as a great standalone media player. razr? Up until the battery won't hold a charge. Nexus? As long as I don't mind transferring files over WiFi (or I assume you can attach via USB).
The rez gives the option of preloading cards and droppingthem in when you want. Oh, you could change the battery at the same time.
Granted many don't care about these things, but some do. If it matters to you,then it's potentially a bigdeal.
If you can't think about ways you might use these features, then you probably don't care either.

I agree with you, but I feel the need to speak out whenever a random Nexus fanboy appears and tries to ethnic cleanse other boards. It's getting as bad as the iSheep. The attack lines can be boiled down to:
"Omg idiot, the _____ is way better"
and
"The ______ will destroy _______"
I honestly feel like it's bait sometimes. What rational sane non-trolling-type person goes on a phone forum of a phone they don't like and puts it down? Really now? I agree with your sentiment and trying to stand up for your phone, but you're proving a point to people whose minds cannot be changed. It's like me telling a racist white dude "ya know, halle berry is fine as hell". What am i expecting? For them to agree with me? Same with Obama's appeasement of republicans. You're preaching to a crowd that's bias is dead set decidedly against you from the start.
Personally: i don't go parading around ANY forum, even the forum of the phone i love and use and talk about how my phone is better than anyone's. The very idea of a person branding themselves based on the phone they have is sickening. You know in the back of their minds they're fighting so hard to justify because phone being superior= them being superior. It's a bad joke.
I love iphone, i used to love webos, i'm curiously in love with windows phone and i currently hump android. "Better" is in the eye of the fanboy
I've got a half dozen 16GB cards with media files, music, movies, youtubes etc. I don't want to have to copy those files back and forth to the phone memory.
Just switch cards as needed.
And the camera on the Rezound is far superior. Beats audio? WOW compared to anything else. When apps become available for beats in videos, this thing will be far and away superior to Nexus.
The ONLY thing Nexus has is ICS. -meh-
I dont know what you are saying, the rezound is a great i never had any problems with it. tThe Battery life is not bad. I unplugged the at 6:54 A.M.still ar 97%. I cant ask for anything more!!!!!

I think better is in the eye of the beholder. Some people must have certain features. For example, if someone must have the latest software all the time, then the gn would be better in their eyes. Likewise, if someone must have removable storage, then the gn may not be for them.
It just depends on what you need or what you consider important. Cost is also an issue. I have a hp touchpad 32gb that I paid $120 for, I have used ipad 2 and honestly, I it was nice, but also, the cost is a lot more. Same can be said about my Rezound, i paid $50, is the gn better? Maybe. Is it worth the price difference? Personally, I find it hard to swallow.
Actually, the Rezound can use a 64GB card. Read a post by someone who tested it out and it worked fine.

You're right on most points. I do it more for the effect of shutting them up, which usually goes as planned. But now that you mention WebOS, I wanted to say that I love it. Well, at least on the Touchpad. If my Rezound had WebOS, I'd be ok with this. I'd need the Android Market though.

This sense of superority with the phones is ridiculous elitism "i'm better than you" warfare. That's like me with my rezound telling someone that has a droid 2 that my phone is "just better". What if they HAVE to have a keyboard? What if they just prefer motorola products? What if they're just happy with their droid 2 and it suits their needs perfectly? "Better" can't be any one thing to everybody. Better is a personal feeling that should not be generalized to a widespread audience.
Personally, i like sense. I also like htc's build quality and camera sensors. How is the nexus "Better" for me? It isn't. I think we need to stop talking in terms of "better" and "best" and start talking in different terms we can all agree with. Is it that hard to just say "i like this"?
Side note: It would also be interesting to see a post or a review where the iphone isn't mentioned. Just mentioning "iphone" at random splits your opinion into different camps and invites fanboyism rather than actual enjoyment of today's technology
