When I go into Picasa (version 3.9 build 135.80) and hit the "Import" button, the tab opens for Import and I get a red flashing "Connecting to Device..." Picasa never locks onto the Galaxy Nexus.
I am able to go thru Windows Explorer and I see the Galaxy Nexus listed there. I can see all the cameras photos in the Computer/Galaxy Nexus/Internal Storage/DCIM/Camera folder. I am able to copy all the pictures and video out of the GN and into a folder and Picasa reads it. Problem is I would then need to delete all the pictures from the phone after copying over or figure out another way of not getting duplicates into Picasa or try to manage this mess. The way it normally works is Picasa does all the filtering of duplicate photos.
I have a GN from Verizon. Running stock everything. Windows 7 64 bit. When I plugged my GN into my USB on the computer, it loaded the drivers for the first for Media device MTP and Camera PTP and said it was successful.
Possibly related note: When I go into Picasa, hit Import/From/Folder and go into the DCIM Camera Folder that way.... Files of Type: Picture and Movie files..nothing comes up in the folder, no files are found. If I change Files of Type to "All Files" and then go up a Directory and then back into the Camera folder again, all the files show up.... but it won't allow me to add all the files at once..it only allows me to add 1 file at a time, which is not workable.
Any thoughts here?
