Nexus player remote.

I notice that the remote control looks barebones. I don't see a FF or rewind button. Just a directional pad a back arrow and play pause button also a voice search microphone button.

Wonder how this will work out when using apps like Netflix and YouTube?

In assuming the directional pad will be for forward and rewind. Even that look kind of strange to me.

It's probably just like the Apple remote in that the left and right on the four way directional pad will act like rewind and fast forward (respectively). I'm used to the design by now, it's pretty efficient and it allows me to find all the buttons rather easily in the dark.

I hope the four way directional pad left button twice pressed lets me roll back the Netflix stream 5 seconds. I love to hear funny quotes from TV shows (Lost , etc.) and movies I watch on there.
