Nexus S 4G price dropped to $99

Just called BestBuy. My wife and I payed 149 for 2x of these on the 19th of June. She did it all over the phone and credited our card for 105 bucks. You made my day man, thanks!
Did you get them from Best Buy online or in store?

We purchased them in store, so I called our local store and selected the pricing questions option from the automated system.

Thanks. Bought mine yesterday. Heading over to sprint store as they can't do it over the phone.

Bought mine 7/3 at the sprint store for 149.99 on my credit card. I very easily got account services to credit my account $50. Thank you!

Can they give you $50 in cash? Or can they only credit your account?

And by they, I mean the Sprint store :P

I exchanged my Evo3D yesterday at Best Buy for the Nexus. Got it for $149, so I got $50 back, so I am going to go back in tonight and ask if they will honor the $99, and see if I can get the difference back.

Thanks OP for the heads up.

I just called.. i guess its only for new lines ? I did an upgrade coming from blackberry and they said nope.. :-[

Added a line to get my Wife a Nexus S over the weekend. Saw the price difference and the Sprint Store said they would give me a service credit on the 31st day of service. I was hoping to just get the $50 back and be done with it, but I guess it is better than nothing (assuming I do see the credit).

Took my wife's reciept from a couple weeks ago to Best Buy yesterday and just said that the price had dropped to $99 and I'd like a price adjustment. They said no problem and put $54 back on my debit card. Didn't even ask where it had dropped to $99.

I upgraded to a Nexus S for $149 at the my local Sprint store one week ago. I stopped by there today and noticed that the store price is still $149, not $99 as advertised on the Sprint Web Site. The Rep there told me the will be lowering the price of the Nexus S to $99 on July 24th, but they won't have an instant rebate but rather a mail-in rebate at that time.

So, he said I could come back, so an "exchange", pay the $35 restocking fee (which he could probably waive), etc. and do the mail-in rebate which I told him would be too much of a hassle. So instead he gave me the number fo customer care tier 1 support which I called and was able to get them to give me a $50 credit to my account (it wasn't too hard to do, but I had to call them twice since the first time the Rep on the phone only gave me a $25 credit). Definitely worth doing.

Go back and try again, my wife and I came from Pres and renewed and still got credit.

Yes definitely try another store.

The first Best Buy I went to wouldn't do it for reasons I don't feel like typing out.......I then went to the one I bought it from and was in and out in less than 5 minutes.

That first Best Buy was actually able to get me to write complaint letters. First time in 20 some years as a consumer. BRAVO!
