Hi everyone,

Im pretty new to the Android platform, tried searching for my particular issue but not finding anything that matches to closely.

I have the AT&T Nexus S and it is giving me all sorts of trouble when I am not connected to WIFI. On my roadrunner email it gives me a unable to connect to server error, on WIFI it works fine.

Facebook app gives me errors if I try to look at pictures in full size. It says can't connect to a certain IP address, then it says photos can't be displayed at this time.

I am not sure what the heck is going on and AT&T tech support seems to be no help. I admittedly didn't know exactly what the best buy rep was selling me when I got this phone. Didn't know about the whole non stock unlocked phone issues.

Can anyone here help me to correctly fix my internet connections when I am not on WIFI. At&T did email me a form with a whole bunch of internet settings but nobody can tell me how or where to enter them. I've called both AT&T and Samsung.

Thanks in advance, :)

Tom

reading thru your experience, I'd suggest you take the settings att emailed you to the best buy rep, and have them help you with setup.

failing that, bring the settings sheet to an att corporate store and have them help you get onto the system you are paying for.

lastly, offer to buy a phone geek lunch in return for them helping you with entering your settings.
