Nexus with those different screen colors?

So can anyone tell me what's up with this? Which one is defective or not or does it come in two different colors?

doesn't make a difference. I took it off and reapplied the thing back.

What do you mean by "bad"? How did you fix it? Surely a different color background doesn't mean the phone is defective.

Is the screen brightness level the same on both phones?

Is the screen brightness level the same on both phones?

Yes. I did a test on all low. Medium . High. Did a stock wall paper test. All colors are the same. Nothing out of the ordinary besides the settings. That's the only thing that makes it look funky.
