Nexus4- fix screen or Upgrade?

My good old Nexus 4, the bumper guard broke & before I could get a new case/guard it slipped out of my pocket & cracked. The question is, to spend money fixing it? OR get a new phone; and what phone do YOU recommend (and Why) that is as good/better and won't break the bank?

You can find some very good/excellent condition Nexus 5's on eBay at good prices. If you want to keep the cost under control, I would say go with that.

If money isn't too much of a concern, I would say go with a new 5X. I bought one for my wife recently (to replace her broken-screen N5) and she likes it a lot - as do I (I am the family techie, both by nature and by profession).
