NFC Sensor Location?

What's the physical location of the NFC sensor on the X4?

Wish I knew. It's probably documented on some site somewhere... maybe if IFixit or someone has done a teardown?

It has always easily worked for me pointing the top half of the phone at the terminal, though I haven't really tried it any other way.

I played around with it at work, and it appears to work best with the top of the phone at the sensor...and not very well with the bottom of the phone at the sensor.

That lines up with what I would expect, that the sensor is somewhere in the top half of the phone.

I agree with it probably being at the top. Just not sure if left, right or center.

NFC only has a range of inches. Knowing where the sensor is in the device allows for a quicker and more reliable connection.

I guess. I just point the top of the phone at the terminal and it always seems to work.

For some reason the location of NFC is different on Motorola phones. On most phones it is in the middle of the phone. For whatever reason Motorola puts it on the top.
