Nike plus GPS with non-3G Gear S2

Hi all, I am having issues with the GPS on the Nike+ app on the watch. I am using the non-3G version of the watch so I am linking through my galaxy s5 phone GPS. Once the app has locked on it is great but the issue is with the lock-on.

I can see on my phone with google maps and with the nike+ phone app that the GPS knows exactly where I am but when I start a run on the watch app the GPS does not lock on for up to 5 min at the start of the run. When you go to the map screen at the start of the run it will always say no GPS. Its not a huge issue but I would really like the complete info for the first 5 min of my run as its one of the main reasons i bought the watch. When I complete the run and sync the info the map is accurate but the start point will be wherever I was when the GPS eventually locked on.

Also, does anyone know how to change distance to time on the main run screen? The time is on the scrolling bar in red at the top of the screen but the writing is TINY and scrolls with other info so is impossible to see while running.

All small points but wondering if anyone is having the same issues/have any solutions!?
