Nixon Mission having issues connecting with Nixon app

[AC Question]

I really like my new Nixon Mission, but when pairing with the Nixon app, it is less than desirable. When you choose Pair Watch within the Nixon app the watch is then supposed to provide a pairing code, 90% of the time, this does not happen. Any suggestions?

Is there a need for the app in the first place? You should be able to pair the watch using the Android Wear app.

Possibly not, since it looks like the Mission Pro face feeds off of the surf/snow trace data from the Mission app, but on the standard Mission face the subdials will not show weather conditions for apps like AccuWeather or Weather.
