Received the EVO VR device for Christmas and downloaded a couple apps: Samsung VR and Within.
The process is to start the app and one of the VR presentations that came with the app, then insert the phone, in the cradle, into the device and viola, 3D. No joy!
The sparse EVO instructions seem to indicate that before inserting the phone into the headset, you should see a split screen of the presentation and once inserted, the device merges the 2 screens and hence provides the 3D show. But, I do not see a split screen before insertion and therefore, no 3D.
My questions are:
1) Should I be seeing a split screen before insertion?
2) Is there a setting on the phone that controls the split screen or is the app supposed to control that?
3) If it is the app, can someone suggest a good app to use?
