When my mum turns off her wifi no 3G appears when it use to. Any ideas how to get it back? Mums got the Vodafone smart 3 on 4.1.1 jellybean.

Check to see if she has mobile data turned on. If it is turned on but still gets no data service, then it might be an issue with her line and she should contact the carrier for support.

Thanks for your help. Mobile data was turned off so I turned it back on & it now says 3G again.
