hi i have a vodafone smart phone e8 i have no 4g my phone says it is available
settings/mobile network preferred network mode 4g/3g/2g auto
its a oldish phone it was ok on 3g maybe vodafone doesnt support it for 4g

Just to be clear -- you're using this Vodafone device on the Vodafone network, correct? Have you contacted Vodafone support about this?

yes vodafone said my phone is 4glte i need 4gvolte so i need a new phone unfair!

What country are you in? VoLTE is an annoying mishmash of protocols without one universal standard, so even if a phone can use VoLTE on one carrier, it doesn't mean it'll work on another.

Ah, so there's a really interesting video by Hugh Jeffreys about this whole fiasco. It explains how you can figure out if your phone will work on your carrier or not.
