I changed my lock screen pin but when I tried to sign in it said invalid pin. Tried to access recovery mode but I can only get to Fastboot I contacted my carrier but they were of no help I have tried everything from soft reset to PUK. still no success. The manufacturer of the phone HMD is telling me to send the phone to them for repair however there is nothing wrong with the phone as evidenced by the carrier providing me with several fix it tips. This is only an issue with the US version. So why are they trying to charge me for repair on a perfectly functioning phone. Can anyone help me ?

Welcome to AC!

On the Nokia C300, what you’re seeing is actually tied to Android security behavior, not a physical defect.

If the phone says “invalid PIN”, the system is rejecting the lockscreen credential.

The PUK code only applies to the SIM, not the phone lock
Getting only Fastboot (and not Recovery) is common on some carrier/US variants — recovery access can be limited or tricky with button combos

When you power the phone off before reboot hold the volume up key and home key this should take you to recovery, if it goes to fast boot then should see options to scroll to next menus until you see recovery with the volume button.

We won't discuss any bypassing as it's against Forum rules here just a heads up on that.
