No Ai cinema on my Mate 20 pro

Exact same thing happened and a horrible call with customer services who effectively admitted they had lied to me on the call

Accordingly they release batches for the next update and you will have it before mid November

Also disgusting level of customer service whom advised me they had never advertised these features as available in any of their adverts

I was struggling to compete with the guy and his lies
Wish I had stayed ios after that call

Spoke with o2 afterwards who said go back and swap device

Today I was at the store here in Dubai and picked up a demo Mate 20 Pro and when I was moving around with the camera on I noticed a little circle jumping between objects as if it was trying to identify what I am shooting, is that the Ai Cinema mode you're all talking about?

"We understand the importance of enjoying and testing the newly added features , as that is part of what makes the product interesting and noteworthy . On launch however occasionally , not all the features are available, as some of them will be added in due time after an update. In some circumstances, the new features can cause issues with some of the other Operating System functions, and that is the reason we sometimes add them over time through patches.


In order to make sure we maintain a proper user experience some of the new options will be added shortly after the launch of the product.

Awesome. I believe that's the latest one. Pls share the 'How Tos' if the functions Dw not to obvious. I'm sure everyone here would appreciate that. I think for the AI cinema,thr icon will just appear when you're in video mode.

It definitely does - load the camera app and select video. The press the "wand" icon on the bottom left and the various AI cinema modes will appear

Also in U. K. I got this phone on 5th Nov. Like everyone here, the AI function doesn't work even though the phone was up to date. Part of the reason I got this phone was for this function. So as I was within 30 days I have just received a replacement. It's exactly the same. Both phones seem to be capable of some colour as well as the black and white, but it's only ever a mere flicker.
It's just not good enough. I don't intend to accept this one either, as it's not what I ordered. I'll contact them again. I feel I'd only be happy if they can send me one they've tested and verified this does work. I doubt they'll agree to this. Why advertise something it clearly doesn't have!?

Mine works pretty much OK ie. if I take a video of someone's face and upper body it's in colour and the background is mono... Plus the 3d scanning is now available in the Huawei App Store.
