Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100) running Android 4.1.2. I have put my post in this section rather than the section for the phone as I think the problem may have developed after a software upgrade.
Currently in 'Clock' I have no access to the default alarm melodies - trying to access them takes me to the default Music Player (see later) and tends to crash 'Clock' or crash the phone completely.
Similarly I have no access to the default ringtones or notification tones. Trying to access or change then either crashes 'settings' or crashes the phone.
It may or may not be related to the other sound problems, but I also have mp3's in the appropriate 'music' folder but the Music Player cannot find any music files.
All in all, the phone is a bit of a mess just now. No problem with other sounds (e.g. from apps) or with music played through Double Twist. Thanks for looking and grateful for any advice.
JM
