no back or recent lights with the new Samsung C8/C1700?

[Android Central Question]

Have purchased a new c8 Samsung it doesn't seem to have any lights built-in under the back and recent key. There is no option as curation for key turning off power saver does nothing.

It would seem there is no light physically built under these keys

Welcome to Android Central! From what I can tell in unboxing videos, it looks like the buttons don't have a backlight. This isn't uncommon for budget phones.
