No biometrics in the morning

After picking up my phone in the morning, the option for fingerprint or face unlock, is not an option. And I have to use passcode to unlock phone.
All day fingerprint and face unlock work fine.

Any idea why this happens and is it normal? I've looked in settings, don't see an option to disable these options after a period of inactivity.

EDIT: phone is not set to reboot nightly.

It sounds like your phone is set to reboot during the night so each morning requires the passcode to re-enter the phone. Just change your settings so that the phone doesn't reboot each night.

It is only set to reboot on Friday early morning. Sorry , forgot to mention that.

New security on the phone, if it sets for 4 hours you have to re enter your pin. Look in your settings where you enter your fingerprints. At the bottom "About unlocking with biometrics"

Its because you are using face recognition
