No camera after Jellybean update

Installed the OTA update on my stock Nexus. Once the install completed I noticed my camera icon changed to an Android, then simply disappeared.

Now I have no camera at all. From the unlock screen, a left-swipe does nothing and there's no sign of the camera as an installed app. I've shut down/restarted several times, and everything else is working A-OK.

Anyone else had this problem? I've been googling for half an hour with no luck, and I don't know what one does to repair the install. Help!!

Just remove that one(android icon) from your home screen. Its in the the app drawer. Drag it back again to the home screen.

Thanks, but the android icon was only there briefly then disappeared altogether. No can do.

Happened to my camera icon on my home screen too. But my camera icon was still in my app drawer. That one worked fine.
Did you check your app drawer?

Doesn't appear in my app drawer at all. My list of All applications doesn't show anything camera related either.

I found the problem! I'd had the stock Gallery App disabled. Once I turned it back on, the camera bits returned with it.
