no cell signal

since my kitkat upgrade i've noticed that i've been having cell signal issues no matter how many times i turn off and on airplane mode it won't pick up my carrier tower. Only to get it to work is by restarting the phone which a pain in a **** sometimes. Anyway encounter this issue themselves?

Yes i had this issue when I flashed the Google play edition 4.4.2 rom. Had to flash a different modem and have had no trouble since! Are u rooted and do u know how to flash stuff?
