Just updated to Android 11 (ui 3.0)

Anyone else having problems getting this to work? I have enabled them, but do not have any of the options I see associated with them. When I get a text, I dont have the little button in the message to turn it into a bubble, no associated options I see screen shots of all over, the only one I have is turning on chat bubbles in the notifications options under advanced. Bit confused.

ohh, and I am using Google Messages.

I am using google messages as well, I just went to notifications-advanced-floating notifications and selected bubbles. If you go to notifications-messages you should see an option that says "show as bubbles." That's the only setting I can think that's getting missed. For reference I am using a Galaxy S20 5g on T-Mobile on the last beta candidate.

I went there, and I have no options to "show as bubbles" I do have something under the conversation grouping something that says "priority levels and bubbles aren't supported for conversations from this app"

I do have floating notifications under advanced set to bubbles as well.

Are you using the beta version of the app? I currently am not.

Well, for grins and giggles I went and installed the beta version of Messages, and well, it seems to be working. Why Google would advertise a feature, and then leave it in beta for almost a year is beyond me....... I understand with the pixel's not having it right out of the gate because of how quickly they get the new versions, but its been what 9 months? lol

Ahh yeah, I forget I'm running the beta version of messages

For regular Google Messenger I have Bubbles set to all and it works. Unfortunately "Selected" doesn't seem to work. Or I just haven't figured it out yet.
