I own a OnePlus One 64gb.
When I first opened it, I found a feature of cyanogenmod to mirror my device screen to chromecast.
But after online updates, that feature disappeared.

Moreover, even after google announced mirroring in there I/O, they haven't come up with OnePlus One support.

I would like to know if there's any official declaration from cyanogenmod or google for support.

Please let me know the link where I can find it.

Thanks

I had the same experience. It seems CM11s doesn't work with Chromecast but CM11 does. I can Chromecast with my Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 running CM11, just not my OpO with CM11s.

It is supposed to be compatible but for some reason Google disallow the function for most phones. The Google Play services (Google settings) apps control the permission.

If you have root you can force it to enable by using the app Mirror Enabler: [EXPERIMENTAL] Enable Mirroring from any device - XDA Forums

Also FYI, Roku is rolling out screen mirror feature for the Roku 3 and Roku Streaming Stick. I don't use Chromecast anymore since switching to the Roku stick.

I have a Roku 3, I am waiting for the firmware update, so I can try this. I still have my Chromecast, I have a Nexus 5 so this has mirroring, I also have a 1st gen MotoG, I can use this with my Roku 3.

I've been using chromecast on my One via Netflix and TV Portal since the getgo with no issues from my device.

I think everyone here is referring to mirroring which allows you to cast your screen, which is only available on select devices such as newer devices such as nexus, gpe, gs4,gs5, g3 etc.

Yep, I figured I was talking apples to oranges but I opened my mouth anyway. Thanks.

Don't have the CAST SCREEN option on my Galaxy S4, everything is updated
