No Clock Alarm When Headphones Are Plugged In?

BP (Before PIE), I listened to my phone at night with headphones/earphones plugged in, and even though they were plugged in, I could hear my alarm waking me up in the morning.

Now, the alarm is only sounding through the headphones. I want the clock alarm to sound DESPITE having the headphones plugged in.

Any help for this, or is it another option wiped out by an update?

Have you tried restarting the phone?

I just restarted the phone again and now it's working again, although I'm sure I had rebooted it before.
