No contract help

hey people, im trying to help out my brother who is in need of a smartphone and plan. he is out of work right now so a major carrier doesnt seem to be the best route. he is doing odd jobs via task rabbit and needs to be connected, so which off contract carrier is the best as far as coverage goes (hes in the bay area)? boost and virgin both have unlimited everything for $55 but not sure whos towers they use. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey man,

I would say that either boost or virgin would be best based on their pricing, buy their coverage map is limited to Sprints native network, which means you can't roam. Tmobile is my prepaid carrier and I love it. Wal Mart has the Samsung Exhibit II 4G for 200 right now which is prepaid and allows you to roam as low as 30 bucks a month. I'd go with that.
