No DCIM file after taking pictures

I took many pictures using my Samsung Galaxy S4
Now I am about to transfer the pictures to my computer.
However I fails as there is no DCIM on my computer .
How can I transfer them without DCIM ?

DCIM should be in your Samsung files manger app , but when you hook you phone to the computer should prompt open gallery , if not download Samsung drivers to your computer. I would also download smartswitch to your computer so can save your phone back up there .

Welcome to Android Central! Make sure you're following these steps (assuming you have a Windows PC):

1. Connect the phone to the PC via USB.
2. Unlock the phone, then swipe down the notification panel and tap the USB icon.
3. Make sure MTP (or File Transfer) is selected.
4. On the PC, open Windows Explorer, then double click the phone in the device list.
5. You should see /DCIM there -- go there, then to /DCIM/Camera.

Drag the DCIM folder (files and folders are totally different animals) from the phone to the PC. Then go watch TV - if you have more than 10 pictures or so, it's going to take a while. Now you'll have a DCIM folder in the PC. Inside that will be a Camera folder (and there may be others - whatever is on the phone).

Or you could just go to where you keep your backups, right-click, New, Folder, and name it DCIM. Or you can go to a command prompt there and type

md DCIM
or
mkdir DCIM

(md is a synonym for mkdir, which stands for make directory.)
