No Delivery Report for SMS in S5

I have purchased one Samsung S5 (Model : SM G900P). It s running Android 6.0.1. I cant find any way to enable sms delivery report in its setting.


How may I get the delivery report for the sms? Kindly help.

It was probably removed because it's pretty meaningless. Does it mean "the message was sent to the destination"? "The message was received on the destination phone"? "The message was opened by the recipient"? "The message was looked at by the recipient"? Something else entirely?

Since there's no specification for delivery receipts in the SMS RFC, it could mean anything - or nothing.

Thanks for the idea. But it gives me assurance that the sms has been reached to the destination (or not delivered). At least I can have the idea that receiver had now switched ON.

Any more idea?
