No Earbuds?

I was looking at the preorder page for AT&T and noticed that earbuds are not listed as items included in the box. Then one of the online order workers contacted me and they said that earbuds would not be included.

Is this true? It would suck to have to drop another $30 or so bucks to get some earbuds.

Earbuds are $9, not 30. Any earbuds will work.
Mine came with buds, but mine wasn't the att model. They were nothing to write home about.

And most serious listeners will buy a good set anyway.

No beats ones that's for sure. Mine came with HTC branded ones that are better than apple buds and not a lot else.

The box is tiny, how much you want in there

I would rather save a little money and pick my own earbuds anyway.

I've never used packaged headphones, so I'm not worried. It was rumored that they can't afford to package Beats headphones and continue to lower the prices on aging phones, so they just weren't going to include them.
