No external storage available?

I use Clean Master to clean my cache and now I constantly get this error message whenever I try and access my photos under Gallery. How can I fix this?

open gallery again

I had this happen to me. Fixed by shutting down and starting back up.

Thank you all for your replies.. I had the same problem when I cleared the cache.. Force stop didn't work so tried by shutting down my phone and switching it on.. Thank God and thanks to you all, I could access Gallery again..

Is this a new bug? I've been clearing the cache for a few weeks, and yesterday was the first time I encountered this problem.

I When I save a photo from my messages I can't find them. Why can't I view them in my gallery? I noticed the path that they are being saved under is my external storage? Which doesn't exist??? What can I do to retrieve my saved attachments? Thanks anyone
