No Facebook app?

Is it just me or is it kind of misleading that Amazon referenced Facebook and Twitter on the Kindle Fire, and even shows the Facebook icon on the box, but there is no Facebook app and no official Twitter app? The facebook one just is a link to the mobile web page and in the amazon app store theres a similar thing for twitter (just a link to the mobile site.) Anyone else find it a bit shady?

I sideloaded the official twitter app, and Seesmic seems OK too, but sideloaded Facebook crashed when I put it on there

the mobile one isn't bad, its just not as good as a proper app...

I did try sideloading the Facebook Android app ("Facebook-5914.apk" from my rooted HTC Incredible). But the Facebook mobile page is more reliable on the Fire. The Android app for Facebook works sometimes, but often crashes with a message that com.facebook.katana has had a forced close.

As stated by aapold, the mobile page isn't bad, so I'll just use that for now

Search google for facebook 2.0 v2.2 and sideload it,
its nearly identical to the official facebook app and works well

Frustrating... yes, but I'm also guessing it will come in time. Amazon App Store is in its infancy.
