No Family plan for smartphones?

So I just activated my Evo 3D.
I figured, with all the talk, I'd just upgrade my existing Palm Pre on the family plan and pay $10 more a month.

Instead it takes it out of the family plan, and now is $70 MORE a month?

This is a rip-off. There's no way to put it back on the family plan?

I would take it to a sprint store and complain, that shouldn't have happened

You should still be on the family plan with that. I'd call sprint or go into a store.

Are you on Sprint's Simply Everything Plan? The fee should only increase an additional $10 per month for the data premium. Sounds like they are tacking on another fee that shouldn't be there.

Fixed it at the Sprint Store. Apparently activating it yourself, I missed, or didn't see, or it didn't have the option to continue the family plan and there's no way to fix it yourself on the website.

Sorry for the fear. Just be careful when activating it yourself.
