Why can't I view sites that use flash player? My other Android devices had no issues. Is there another app I can use to make flash work?

Adobe dropped Flash support for Android 4.1 and newer, which is the OS version the Note 2 is running. You'll have to sideload the apk (meaning download the app of the internet and not from the Play Store) and possibly use another web browser (I'm not familiar with the stock/Samsung browser) to use Flash.

the Stock Samsung browser will use Flash, the link from jdub is the right one, you will have to turn on side loading to load it (remember to turn it back off when you are done). I use Chrome 99% of the time and don't miss flash.

How do I turn on sideloading?

I found that but the install failed. Is there a specific way to install it? I was able to sideload an Android wallpaper.

I was hoping it would be built into Chrome like on the desktop version, but no dice.

That worked. Thanks

Doesn't look like Flash and Chrome like each other.

No, you can use Firefox or another browser that supports it

Good to know. Being that Adobe no longer supports, is there any risk associated with downloading the apk?

Thanks in advance!

They didnt upate for JB

Just download it. It is backwards compatible with jelly bean. Dont use the link though. Its been updated many many times since that link was posted. ICS was the last officially supported android OS but that doesnt make it any less compatible..

There are many many posts on AC saying the exact samething.
