No Gallery....

Obviously photos is there, but its only pictures I take. Whats a good Gallery app with some minor editing features, Crop, rotate......etc...

Photos does all that that u just asked for..

But

really? It only shows my pictures Ive taken... I made a meme and downloaded an image but can't see them anywhere

I think photos get a bad rep bc ppl don't want to learn how to use it but yeah u can edit and do all that other stuff in it also... u might not be backing up the folder that u downloaded the meme and image into... Basically what I'm saying is hit the hamburger menu and select device folders then it should show you every pic on your phone

The Photos app literally does everything you have asked for. Go thru the app a bit and I am sure you will know how to use it. It is not that complicated.

Within the photo app swipe left to reveal "device folders" make sure you have enabled all folders

Agreed with everyone that Photos does everything you want. That said, I'll also second QuickPic if you're looking for a great, no-nonsense gallery.

Open the side panel (hamburger button or swipe right) select device folders.

You could open the side menu and find 'device folders' there as mentioned by Steven, or you could go to the rightmost tab (album) by tapping on it on the bottom bar, and by clicking into the second box (the one beside 'shared'). That will show you all the folders on your phone that contain images.

Also as others have said, the Photos app comes with editing capabilities as well. Just press into any image, and at the bottom you will see three icons. Click on the middle one (pencil icon), and you could do some editing.
