So one of my panics with my P40 Pro has been, even though I got my Banking App over from my old phone was the updates to those Apps but I've noticed now that Petal Search has been showing some updates for them and HSBC has updated twice already. I do still mostly use APK Pure and Aptoide for updates but it's good to see Huawei are aware of the support they need to provide and hopefully Banking Apps will soon be in App Gallery.
I think it's just a matter of time before talk of GPS is a thing of the past.

Wow that's good to hear actually. What do you meant you saw the updates? On Petal Search or where?

That's great. it was on of my worries was updates. its great that petal search tells you when there is an update. So even though you used phone clone to get the app across petal search told you there was an update for it? is that right?

That's actually pretty good if it works, maybe having the app, hels Petal Search find the source od the apps too?

Ah I didn't realise the apps were even updating, that's really good to know!

Im not bothering installing GMS, i think its just a matter of time but its not even needed at all. But yeah if you go into Petal Search it shows you apps including Banking ones that need updated and then you just download and install.

I can't imagine switching to a Huawei ecosystem. For example, I like being able to add something to my grocery list in Google Keep/Notes by talking to my Home Mini while I'm cooking and having it on my phone. Or, put an appointment in Google Calendar on my chromebook and having it on the phone. Or a new contact entry on the phone that is automatically on my chromebook.

But, I want the camera.

I had that trouble with the P40 Pro. And the camera was not as good as people make out. Quite a lot of my automatic photos were sub standard even compared to my S10+ let alone my pixel phones. It was very fast though.
