No Gorilla Glass???

The rep at my AT&T store told me that this did not have Gorilla Glass. Can anyone verify this? I figured all HTC phones did at this point.

I'm pretty sure it should have Gorilla Glass... If not, I would be very disappointed.

After doing some research, it seems that none of the new HTC phones have Gorilla Glass, but that they have moved to a different company that makes a fortified glass that is a lower cost for them.

Could you point us in the direction of what you found out? It would be good to get the details and make that general knowledge.

I just did a google search of "Gorilla Glass" and different recent releases of HTC phones. Looked at 20-30 different sites. No direct word from HTC though. I asked HTC on twitter and got no response so far.

Do please keep us posted on what you learn. It would be comforting to all of us to know that the glass is resistant to impact to a greater extent than regular screen glass. Thanks!
