No haptic feedback?

Just got one of these to test and the first thing I noticed is that there's no haptic feedback on the navigation bar buttons, in any apps (i.e. tapping the reactions on Facebook), nor in the keyboard (GBoard does let me activate it but says the system setting is set to disabled).

Can anyone confirm? I can't find a setting for haptic vibration pattern or intensity like in my other devices.

I just had the same experience as you! I got an Tab S6 this morning and have been playing around with it for the last few hours. And it just now dawned on me that there was no haptic feedback when I type. Then I tried to look for a setting to turn it on and it's not there.

I'm just now comparing it to my phone and it looks like, unfortunately, it may not be there. Although, I find that very hard to believe.

My phone, an S9, has the same software and under Settings / Sound and Vibration, it's exactly the same as the Tab S6 until you get to Volume. Then, under Volume on the phone is:

Volume
Vibration Intensity
Use Volume Keys for Media

On the tablet under volume is just:

Volume
Use Volume Keys for Media

Then under the next section on the phone, the section is called: "System sounds and vibration".

But on the tablet under the next section, it's just called: "System sounds".

It's starting to look like it's not on there at all. Which will really **** me off because I really use that and need it. You need the feedback when you type, you know!

For typing most other keyboards I've used that aren't the stock one do offer an option to turn vibration on, but for navigation and other app interactions like long pressing, it seems we're screwed unless Sammy issues an update patch.
