No incremental zoom for video on S22?

I am puzzled. There sseems to be no way to gradually zoom in when taking video with S22. It just switches between two lenses (the 0.6 and 1), but soea not allow me to zoom in or ourt incrementally. Yet there is gradual zoom when taking photos. And my previous S10 did have gradual zoom on video. What am I missing?

Long press the 0.6 then should allow to slowly increase zoom

Actually, it seems that the problem is that I had "Super Steady" (Vibration Reduction - that shaky hand on the screen) ON. With that ON, one can not zoom in gradually when taking a video. With it OFF, gradual zoom works on video. Who knew? I looked everywhere, and I could find no instructions or forum entries anywhere on the topic. Hopefully this will help someone else in the same predicament.
