Well for those of us who've suffered so long, I figured I'd post I don't get redraws of the home screen anymore when exiting chrome. This seems to have been resolved around 6.0.1 but before maybe with a chrome update.

I'm pretty sure it was 6.0.1 that fixed this. I had these constantly right up to the bitter end of 6.0 no matter how many chrome updates were released.

Good to know I haven't just become accustom and ignore them.

While it was a rough first 3-6mo I have to admit it now, the N9 is the best tablet out there for Android (yes even compared to a Pixel C which I have, but I still think N9 is a perfect size, feel, and now software experience).

I agree. Over a year later and it finally works right. (The way it should have from day one)

I do have a freeze up while using chrome once in a while that requires a hard reset though.............
