No more Split screen Samsung Galaxy

I used to get my split screen by long pressing the recents apps button but i can't any more after updating my phone. Only option now is pressing once recent apps button and clicking on any app icon and thennn select the split screen option, before i had both options but used the long pressing recent apps button all day cause it was faster, but this option is not anyone on my phone. Any suggestions on how to get it back?
