Yesterday, I thought my phone was just quiet, no one texting, calling etc..and then I get a phone call @ work from someone saying hey, how come you are not picking up your phone/answering texts etc...

I said there was nothing there.

I rebooted, and BOOM! Like 25 text, 12 missed calls etc...

Is this common? How can I prevent this from happening. I use just mobile data for the most part, only wifi when I get home.

Non-Rooted Galaxy S7 through Sprint...about a year old. No real problems and not alot of "crap" installed on it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

if I see anything like that, it's been due to signal issues ... what's your signal strength like?

And not roaming (look for triangle or R symbol by the bars). Could your power saving mode be affecting this? I keep mine on optimized. I'm usually on WiFi throughout the day so don't really have your same experience. Although was travelling recently and on mobile data, and did OK with texts and calls and emails.

Did this problem just start? If so, any new apps installed recently? Do calls etc. come through in Safe mode?
