No Nougat for the V10

So, a phone that was only a year old at the time the OS was released is not going to get this OS?

Solidifies the argument to get a Google Nexus/Pixel device rather than another OEM...

However, this line calls into question the validity

Customer reps have been notoriously unreliable for update info in the past.

I don't think that's true. Of it is it will probably only affect select US carriers or something. Pretty sure the international version will get it at least.

We'll see what that means for the entire line, but hardly 'official' that it means that across the board at this point.

Software Version: Android 7.0 "Nougat"--T-Mobile and the device manufacturer have agreed to support a new software update.

Yet another reason to root. Only thing stopping me is I like to play Pokemon Go and it won't work on a rooted phone.

Teasing! On a serious note, I believe I've read from certain sources that they are supposed to get it. If mid-rangers like the stylo 2 and ancient LG G3 are getting it, then why wouldn't they?

LG V10 will pick up Nougat update in Q2 2017, LG G4 in Q3 | Android Central

Don't expect it until MUCH later this year though.
