No Official Froyo Benchmark Gains

Just got Froyo officially on my captivate...finally. I know that some of the gains from Froyo are speed related, though not exactly how. While my Linpack score jumped by like 50% before and after getting it. However, my quadrant and neocore scores really havent changed at all. I know that these test scores arent everything but I was wondering why I didnt see much improvement here...

Side Note: For those with the Facebook app, wasnt Froyo supposed to bring Push notifications to facebook for android? cause it hasnt on mine...
