Just because you had a so called "bad experience" (which by what you have said about it isn't bad at all. Did you check your spam folder in your email? :D) with BB, that doesn't give you reason to go onto every topic even talking about BB and trash talk. This post is enough. Lets try to act mature

BB seems to be hit or miss these days. I went with the Corp ATT store for my HOX. Best buy didnt seem like they wanted to activate a phone for me. Sorta sad cause they get paid for it.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. No reason to flame anyone for expressing it.

I myself no longer shop at BB. I had been a long time repeat customer, but some of their policies and how they relate to customer service have left a bad taste in my mouth. I have never been to any store or retailer where a manager refused to state their name, but wanted my id. My vote is dodo BB.

You're right, but that's a two way street. If someone is allowed to express a negative opinion without being flamed, people should be allowed to express a positive opinion without it as well.

That's a lot of flames! lol. I had a great experience with BB. The manager called me, literally, the moment after he got them from UPS. This is my second experience with BB, the other was on launch day with the OGEVO. Both have been very good for me. Sorry to all that didn't have the same experience. But hey, this is the place to express that, as long as we all play nicey nice :-D

I agree with the poster who stated, BB is hit or miss ... Like I posted in another thread, BB employees are just to ignorant about what's happening at BB ... They have a few key players that know a little and then they fill the rest of the store with zombies with skills to scan a product and take your money. I usually only shop at BB when there is a sale ... I go in ... Get product ... Pay ... Walk out ... I DO NOT rely on them for product information by no means ... I have never been in a store where most of the associates text their fellow associates and managers on their personal devices for information on how to do something like BB. I am at the register in the mobile dept and 1 guy is texted another for info, while my associate is calling , texting and BB messaging the manager for info and then I am looking at another noob associate reading a memo to the supervisor about a policy that the sup didn't know about. Best Buy better get it together or they will be known as Amazon.com.

Just got my email 5 minutes ago from Best Buy informing me my pre-order was ready for pick up. Even though I picked it up yesterday. And I already posted this in the other thread:

On Friday I went to Best Buy and pre-ordered my HTC EVO 4G LTE. On Saturday I went to Best Buy to pick it up.

I asked them to price match Sam's Club in my area for $168.88. They said no, because it's brand new. I asked where in the price match policy does it state it can't be on new items? They still wouldn't do it. I then informed them I could have asked to price match Wal-Mart at $149.99 but none of the stores in my area had them in stock but were listing them at the price. They told me I could go buy it over there then.

I was like, fine, I'll just take my Phone Freedom $50 gift card and the new $50 gift card and put it towards the purchase of the phone then. They again said no, and informed me I could only use one or the other. I told them let's just try using both codes and see what happens. They said it wouldn't let the computer do it. I said let's try and see. They did it, and both $50 GC printed out and they were able to use both.

At this point I'm paying $100 (plus tax) for the phone.

While running errands, I stopped in another Best Buy (went to customer service), informed them I saw the phone for $168.88 at Sam's Club. Customer Service associate called Sam's Club, verified the price, and verified it was in stock and price matched it, refunding me the difference.

All in all, I got the phone for $68 (plus tax)...sold my EVO 3D for $185 on Craig's List.

But the experience of having to deal with the mobile department and store manager at Best Buy, really made me never want to go there again. They made me feel like I was trying to commit fraud when in actuality I was just playing within the guidelines they set forth...and then at this particular Best Buy, decided to change the guidelines as they went along.
