AC Question

Mum's Galaxy S5 was purchased in the UK and is running Android 5.0. It has an SD card installed which has been recognised by the phone and can be viewed in the storage options under settings.

There is nowhere in the camera application to ask that photos are saved to the SD card. I've checked video tutorials on this and there seems to be an option missing from the camera application on Mum's phone that other users have.

Is there an option on the phone to ask that photos are saved to the card by default?

Welcome to Android Central! Is the phone set to Easy Mode?

In Settings, switch from, "Easy mode", to, "Standard mode", and then go to Camera > Settings and scroll down. There you will now find the option to change the Location that images are stored.
