I'm on AT&T and I have not received the Oreo update yet. I'm not sure how the batches roll out, but I figured I would of received it by now. On any carrier I have been on, I usually get the update within 48hrs from the released date. Any ideas?

It's not a state-by-state thing.

And if the roll-out is still happening, be patient.

You're not missing anything except crappy battery life and a few other issues with Oreo. Just keep enjoying Nougat and be happy you don't have to deal with it yet.

I did not recieve any updates for my S8+ for a year. I actually had to bring my phone in to a best buy Samsung rep to get it updated. took an hour an a half for him to download then he connected to my phone. My phone is now up to date. I dont know if I will continue to get updates over the network like everyone else....

I did an online chat with a rep and she first tried telling me that the manufacturer has to send me the update. I told her that was not true att sends it out to the customer, then she says there must not be an update for my phone. idiots

I had to trick my phone to get the update. Turn off automatic date and I set it forward like ten years. Checked for update and there it was. Not sure if it actually did anything but might be worth a shot.
